Mt Kosciuszko

This is an easy 4-6 hour return walk to the highest peak in Australia at 2228 metres above sea level.  To reduce the impact of hikers on vegetation, most of the track is raised mesh pathway.



We walked to the summit in summer 2010 and the kids were pleasantly surprised to see snow and have great fun.








There are a few walks at the national park for those who love bushwalking.  We stayed at Lake Crackenback Resort and there were a few tracks around the resort, some will take you to the national park.  I walked along the Thredbo River one afternoon ...
