We joined the Mt Buller Summit Nature Walk on Easter Saturday, 2009. A very pleasant walk to to the summit, interesting to see how the vegetation changes as we went higher.

Mt Kosciuszko
This is an easy 4-6 hour return walk to the highest peak in Australia at 2228 metres above sea level. To reduce the impact of hikers on vegetation, most of the track is raised mesh pathway.

Lake Mountain
Our first bushwalk as a group in 2010 (we didn't have one in 2009) was the Lake Mountain Summit Walk, part of the Yarra Ranges National Park. The kids call this 'walking among the dead trees'. Even so, we did enjoy the walk. Let's see what we saw on the way ...
